Challenge

They would also need to transfer all customer and past transaction data from their CRM to the cloud platform without disrupting the workday.
Strategy
To seamlessly migrate the customer from their old CRM to the Microsoft environment, Data Pros proposed a project and developed the following project outline:
- Select the best workflow tools, cloud-based middleware, and content service technologies for the firm.
- Migrate data from third party tools into the Microsoft cloud.
- Standardize on Microsoft for collaboration and communication.
- Implement SharePoint, and Power Automate within Office 365 stack.
- Configure Microsoft Azure App services to fulfill triggered metadata transfer from old CRM to SharePoint environment.
Results
As a result, the consulting company saw a reduction in operational costs for storage of customer related documents within the cloud. They also realized reduction in cost and time on document management. The need to manually transfer account, opportunity, and deal date to SharePoint from Sales Force was eliminated, as Power Automate flows perform the action based on content and data.
